City-based photographer Madhuchhanda Sen recently held an exhibition at a lounge where she displayed her recent series of photographs titled Imagescapes.
All the work has been compiled on a video format for easy distribution. Madhuchhanda has concentrated on three themes — sky, heritage buildings of Kolkata and light and darkness. The theme of sky captures the inseparable connection between the clouds and the sky.

She has clicked the clouds all around the world and each photograph speaks volumes. While Heritage buildings of Kolkata brings out the story behind each building, Light and Darkness series is an attempt to showcase the coexistence of light and darkness. Says Madhuchhanda, “This concept is new and some 100 photos have been compiled and a story has been added along with music. The exhibition is closed during the Pujas and will reopen from October 18 for a week. My next shows are in Mumbai and Dhaka.” With photography gaining rapid recognition as the most powerful means of storytelling, the exhibition was an eye-opener.
